SWHC Mineral-insulated “MGO” RTD sensors are manufactured using an outer metal sheath material with the sensing element embedded in a compacted magnesium oxide insulation. They offer robust life and precise temperature measurement in elevated temperature applications where shock and vibration are present. MGO thermocouples come with PT 100-ohm sensing element types rated at 500C and 800 C. MGO Rtd’s come with a variety of fitting thread and connection head options and can be specified with a 4-20ma transmitter. Contact SWHC for special designs.
